The Role of Economic Security Components in the Effect of Jihadi Management on the Resistance Economy

Abstract:
The present study aimed to investigate the effect of jihadi management on the resistance economy, with emphasis on the mediating role of economic security. In terms of purpose, this research is applied, and in terms of method, it is a descriptive-analytical study conducted through fieldwork. The statistical population consisted of all production workshops supported by the Construction Basij in اردbil Province in 2023, comprising 133 workshops with a total of 2,125 employees. Based on Morgan’s table, the sample size was determined to be 325 participants, and the samples were selected using stratified random sampling.
Data were collected through library resources, scholarly articles, theses, internet sources, and standardized questionnaires. The face and content validity of the research instruments were confirmed by management scholars, and the reliability of the questionnaires was verified using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The coefficients obtained were 0.88 for the jihadi management questionnaire, 0.77 for the resistance economy questionnaire, and 0.83 for the economic security questionnaire.
For data analysis, descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation were used, while inferential statistics included the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test to examine the normality of data distribution. Furthermore, structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to test the research hypotheses using SPSS and AMOS software.
The findings indicated that economic security plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between jihadi management and the resistance economy. Therefore, it can be concluded that strengthening economic security, alongside the application of jihadi management principles, can provide the foundation for the development and enhancement of the resistance economy in the country.
